FAQs
What is a flash design?
A flash tattoo is a pre-designed and ready to tattoo that is usually displayed online or in books at the tattoo studio.
These designs are ready-made and drawn in my spare time. They’re often a result of experimentation and trying out new approaches.
These designs will only be tattooed once, therefore they’re unique artworks waiting to be collected.
Do you make custom designs?
Yes! Whether you have a vague or a clear idea, a feeling or emotion you want to visualize in a tattoo, we can schedule an online or consult in the studio the brainstorm together. There’s no need to have everything figured out, I’m there to show you different approaches and options. You'll receive your design 7-4 days before the tattoo appointments. Plenty of time to sleep a night on it, and make adjustments if needed.
If you'd like to see some sketches, and different options we can schedule a sketch day somewhere in between your tattoo appointment. On this sketch day I’ll show you some different approaches and we can draw and adjust it together.
Is this placement painful?
The amount of pain is dependent on many different factors, the placement is one of them but many other factors play a part in this. For example: The type of machine, coil or rotary, the size of the tattoo, the duration of the session and your overall well being.
Ribs, hands, feet and arm pits are generally more painful. The closer to the joints a tattoo is, the more sensitive. But if you’re getting a relatively small or minimalistic tattoo on those areas, chances are that you won’t experience it as really painful.
The longer you work on the skin the more sensitive it will become, there’s no need to cross your own boundaries, we can always finish your tattoo another time when it’s healed.
What are those rings your wearing?
As a hypermobile person, I’m wearing silver splints. It’s a medical and not aesthetic purpose. Before every session they will be disinfected thoroughly, by both alcohol and the Mast UV sterilization box.
